Start Digital 360°: EDIH of Moldova launches its first call for the digitalisation of SMEs and public institutions
Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and public institutions in the Republic of Moldova can apply to the first EDIH of Moldova call to access the “Start Digital 360°” service package — an integrated support pathway for digital transformation with a total value of EUR 8,357, 50% of which is co-financed by the European Union.
The first call offers only 40 places nationwide — 30 for SMEs and 10 for public institutions. Registration in the One-Stop Shop is free of charge, and submitting the application form does not oblige the organisation to contract the services at a later stage.
What does Start Digital 360° include?
The package provides a pathway of up to 12 months, designed around the real needs of each beneficiary. In total, beneficiaries have access to 164 hours of services, ranging from an assessment of their current situation to the identification of suitable solutions and funding opportunities.
The package includes:
digital maturity assessment (DMA);
identification of needs and development of a digitalisation roadmap;
development of basic digital skills;
preparation for the responsible use of artificial intelligence;
business mentoring;
matchmaking with digital solutions, experts and partners;
advice on accessing funding.
This means that the organisation receives not just a report on its level of digitalisation, but a comprehensive transformation pathway that connects assessment with skills development, the identification of suitable solutions, and preparation for investment and funding opportunities.
How much does it cost?
The full value of the package is EUR 8,357. Thanks to European Union co-financing, the beneficiary pays only 50% — EUR 4,178.50. The financial contribution is required only after the organisation has been selected and the service agreement has been signed.
At national level, mechanisms are still being explored to potentially support part of the beneficiaries’ co-financing through public instruments. However, no operational government co-financing mechanism is currently available at the time of launching this call. Therefore, for the first call, selected beneficiaries should take into account their own contribution of EUR 4,178.50.
For interested organisations, this is also a first step towards EDIH’s advanced services, including testing digital solutions before making an investment, technical expertise, advanced digital specialisation, and support in developing projects aimed at securing funding.
Who can apply?
Small and medium-sized enterprises and public institutions from the Republic of Moldova that wish to strengthen their digital capabilities and improve their processes through the use of digital technologies are eligible to apply. Eligibility will be verified after registration, in accordance with the call’s criteria.
After the application form is submitted, the EDIH of Moldova team reviews the information provided, contacts the organisation to clarify its needs and verify eligibility, and the selected organisations subsequently move on to the contracting stage.
Registration in the One-Stop Shop does not automatically mean that the organisation will contract the service package.
Why apply?
Because digitalisation does not start with choosing a software solution. It starts with understanding the problems that technology can help solve. Start Digital 360° gives organisations access to expertise, skills development, digital solutions and guidance on funding opportunities — all within one integrated pathway.
And for the first call, the number of places is limited to 40 beneficiaries.
Registration in the One-Stop Shop is free of charge. Take the first step and find out what can be digitalised, which solutions are right for your organisation, and how you can prepare it for the next stage of development.
